Application Fee
Upon submitting your application, you will be taken to your application status page. From there, you will be able to pay the $75 application fee. Additional $25 fee is charged for late applications.
Your application will not be considered complete unless we have received your non-refundable application fee by the application deadline.

Application Information Needed
Depending on your particular program, you may have to answer questions on the following topics:
Personal Information: Name, Addresses, Citizenship, Native Language, Sex, Gender Identity, Social Security Number, etc.
Family Information: Biographical details, including contact information, about your parents or guardians
Academic History: Schools attended and current academic school information
Pre-College Music Application: Specific questions related to your musical experience, private teachers, performance experience, and resume for the following majors: cello, composition, piano, viola and violin.
Prescreening: Video recordings are required for cello, piano, viola and violin. Scores are required for composition.
Music Audition Repertoire: List all pieces you plan to perform at your live audition, click on your major to find your audition requirements: bass trombone, bassoon, cello, clarinet, composition, double bass, flute, guitar, harp, horn, oboe, organ, percussion, piano, tenor trombone, trumpet, tuba, violin, viola, voice.
Pre-College Music Teacher Preference: Teacher preferences are confidential, and are not shared with faculty at any time during the application and audition process. Teacher preferences do not affect admissions decisions. Please select your teacher choices in order of preference.

Audition Repertoire
The voice program is a highly selective program for high school students, age 14 or older at the time of the audition, who are advanced in their classical vocal training. Students should be prepared to audition with the requirements listed below.
A standard classical song from the Italian Anthology sung in Italian or English.
A classical song of the applicant's choice sung in English.
A short classical song in a foreign language.
Voice auditions are held in two rounds: first round and callback round. Voice applicants will be notified if they are invited for a callback on the evening of their first round audition day via email. Applicants not invited for a callback round will not be considered for admission.
Piano accompaniment is required for voice applicants. A list of piano accompanists is provided to applicants along with their individual audition schedule, around April 15*. Applicants may elect to use their own accompanist.
*Applications received after the original deadline of March 1 will be processed as quickly as possible, the individual audition time and the accompanist list will be provided at that time.
