Our Mentors
Our team of instructors is composed of experts from world-renowned music institutions, including professors and accomplished musicians from The Juilliard School, Berklee College of Music, and other prestigious schools. They are not only highly respected in their respective fields but also have extensive teaching experience, offering personalized guidance and professional advice to students. Whether you aim to improve your performance skills or refine your musical compositions, our instructors will support your musical journey with their deep expertise and unique insights.

Jae is a Korean American composer and educator, teaching Music Theory and Advanced Orchestration at Juilliard Pre-College. His award-winning compositions have been performed by ensembles like the U.S. Marine Band and at venues including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Lee is also the Music Director and Organist at The Episcopal Church of St. Matthew and St. Timothy, leading services in English and Spanish. He holds degrees from The Juilliard School.
Kurt has performed widely across the U.S., including debuting at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Praised by ‘Opera News’ for his role in Ned Rorem’s ‘Our Town’, his opera credits include ‘Don Giovanni’ and ‘Die Entführung aus dem Serail’. He holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Journalism from the University of Washington and has taught at Juilliard since 2017. Kurt also maintains a private voice studio in New York.
Simon, an American musicologist and composer, graduated from The Juilliard School and has had his works performed at prestigious venues like Alice Tully Hall. He has been recognized with the 2023 Richard F. French Award and is pursuing a PhD in Musicology at Stanford University. Simon has also organized music festivals in Brittany, France, and taught composition at Juilliard's Advancement Program.
Daniel is a prolific composer whose works have been commissioned and performed by leading ensembles and artists, including Simone Dinnerstein, the NY Phil Biennial, and Opera on Tap, in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. He has collaborated with artists such as Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, and The Roots, contributing orchestrations and arrangements for high-profile performances and recordings. He teaches at Juilliard, Curtis, and the New School, and co-founded the New Music Gathering.
